We installed on-line measurement of dissolved oxygen and other parameters of water quality at the Rozpakov lake in the Central Bohemian town of Říčany. In recent years, the water temperature not only in Czech lakes has increased above the long-term average, which leads to a decrease in dissolved oxygen and more frequent cases of mass fish deaths. Precise on-line monitoring will enable timely reactions to the declining water quality.
We are launching the new quality control system. It is the result of cooperation with the Department of Production Systems and Automation of the Technical University of Liberec as part of the "Continuous quality control of production of wastewater diffusor membrane" project.
Each batch of the aeration membrane is scanned in great detail by a specially developed device. The resulting macro photographs are evaluated and stored in a cloud storage. Therefore, we now have accurate information on the quality of the membrane at the time of production. We are able to detect any deviation from the best quality of perforation, therefore our customer is assured of 100% mebrane quality.
In cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Liberec, we studied the possibilities of using modern digital methods for continuous quality control directly on the production line. A number of methods have been tested and the results are very promising.
Together with the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague, we have carried out a detailed measurement of the pressure loss of the PUM68 aeration membrane and the tube diffusers in our production.
